How to dock the Skidbladnir?

Requirement:

The Skidbladnir can be docked either to a tower in a virtual world, or directly in the SkidGarage if it is located on Lyoko. Once docked, the submarine regains its energy reserves.

Method 1: Docking to a Tower

Docking to a tower has the drawback of offering no additional protection to the Skidbladnir, unlike the SkidGarage with the docking shield. Additionally, the submarine is more vulnerable to powerful monsters such as Megatanks.

  1. Position the Skidbladnir above a tower using the control options displayed by clicking the central column in the 'Skid Control' window.

  2. Align the Skidbladnir using the 'Align' option.

  3. Dock the Skidbladnir to the tower using the 'Dock' option.

Method 2: Docking to the SkidGarage

Designed to accommodate the Skidbladnir, the SkidGarage provides enhanced protection to the submarine with the docking shield.

  1. Only from a Lyoko surface territory, position the Skidbladnir facing the access tunnel to the 5th Territory using the 'Passage' option.

  2. Deactivate the tunnel linking the 5th Territory and the surface territory where the Skidbladnir is located. You can refer to the tutorial 'How to deactivate a tunnel from the 5th Territory' for more details on this procedure.

  3. Move the Skidbladnir into the 5th Territory using the 'Use Tunnel' option. Once inside, the submarine positions itself above the SkidGarage.

  4. Move the Skidbladnir into the SkidGarage using the 'Enter Garage' option.
