A question about: Cycle 4.4.X

Cycle 4.4.X saw the addition of chapter 4 of story mode 'Ikigai'. This new chapter saw the integration of a lot new 3D places from the show, such as the forest, the roof of the science building and a part of Ishiyama's house. As well as new environments, a new XANA attack was added: taking control of an eletrical bus to launch it at the petrochemical complex.

Chapter 4 also introduced the mechanic of temporary blocking some of XANA attacks (Electrical central overcharge, electrical bus…) with the help of two new programs: the network controller, netcontrol, and the network hacking program, nethack.

Custom mode saw the addition of netcontrol and, with it, the mechanic of blocking XANA attacks. But the main additions for this game mode, in this version, are the musics that plays during different situations (mission without attacks, tower or core attack, battle…) and the freeroam in the factory, that means that players were able to leave the chair in the lab and explore the factory freely.

Finally, the renderings of the interfaces (factory interface, Jeremy's computer…) have been modified. The outlines of all the windows have been changed, and important windows, such as 'Virtual Map' or the 'Com. Cards', got new visuals.

Note that chapter 3 has been skipped in the numbering since Immudelki has remade chapter 1 to divide it into two separate chapters. With that, the old chapter 2 became chapter 3. It's only in the next cycle that those two chapters got re-released in a remastered state.
