How to build Lyoko sectors

Building Lyoko sectors is an operation that requires juggling between several windows to find the different codes and values necessary for the configuration of each sector.

Step 1: Gathering necessary information

Each sector requires different information that can be found in the windows 'Lyoko Build Codes' and 'Tower Access Info'. These codes change at each new game, it is therefore essential to verify them before building a sector.

  1. Open the 'Lyoko Build Codes' window.

  2. Select the surface sector (mountain, forest, desert or ice) that you want to build.

    Note:

    You cannot select the 5th Sector as all the information necessary for its construction is already displayed on the window.

  3. The 'Lyoko Build Codes' window gathers various codes and values essential for building a Lyoko sector.

    • Construction code
      The construction codes of the 4 surface sectors are displayed in the center of the window, one above the other, in the following order, from top to bottom: Mountain , Forest , Desert and Ice . The code for the 5th Territory is displayed to the right of the window next to the symbol .

    • Bipolar coordinates
      The bipolar (x ; y) coordinates of the selected sector are displayed to the right of the window in 2 pale pink rectangles at the bottom. The upper rectangle contains the coordinate 'x', while the lower rectangle contains the coordinate 'y'.

    • Code: WayTower Road
      The code: WayTower Road is essential for configuring the towers of a sector. As such, the code of the selected sector is displayed at the top right of the window.

  1. Open the 'Virtual Map'.

  2. Open the 'Tower Access Info' window.

  3. Select the surface sector which code: WayTower Access you want to display by clicking on the logo of the sector ( Mountain, Forest, Desert and Ice) located under the 3D model of the tower.

    Note:

    Due to not having more than one tower, the 5th Territory does not need a code: WayTower Access to be built.

Step 2: Configuring a sector

Now that you know where to find all the necessary information, you can configure a sector in the construction virtual.

  1. Open the 'Virtual Construction'.

  2. Load the parameters of the sector (carthage, mountain, forest, desert or ice) that you want to configure.

    Note:

    If no sector is built, you will have to load the 5th Sector (carthage) first.

Configuring a territory
  1. Configure the construction code of the territory according to the one indicated by the 'Lyoko Build Codes' window.

  2. Configure the sea level of the sector. This value must be between 300 and 600 meters.

  3. Configure the bipolar coordinates of the sector according to those indicated by the 'Lyoko Build Codes' window.

  4. Configure the energy allocated to the sector. For the surface sectors (Mountain , Forest , Desert , and Ice ) this is 1800 units, while for the 5th Sector it is 2000 units.

Important:

Since the 5th Sector only has one tower, this sub-step is not necessary to configure this sector.

  1. Configure the code: WayTower Road of the towers of the sector according to the one indicated by the 'Lyoko Build Codes' window.

  2. Configure the code: WayTower Access of the towers of the sector according to the one indicated by the 'Tower Access Info' window.

Step 3: Compiling sectors

Once all the sectors that you want to build are configured, there is only one step left: compiling and launching the construction of sectors.

  1. Validate the different parameters configured by performing a simulation of the construction.

    Warning:

    If you have made an error in the entry of one or several parameters, a window of anomaly will indicate the origin of the problem.

  2. Launch the compilation of the one or more territories.

    Note:

    You can speed up the in-game time by clicking on the clock that is located in the agenda accessible from the radial menu (right click).

  3. Once the compilation is complete, launch the construction of the sectors.
