How to virtualize Lyoko warriors?

Step 1: Transfer the Lyoko warriors

The first step is to choose which Lyoko warrior you want to send to the virtual world. Since you have 3 scanners, you can thus virtualize up to 3 characters at the same time.

  1. Initialize the transfer program.

  2. Select the characters you want to virtualize.

Step 2: Scan the characters

Once the Lyoko warriors are transferred, you must scan them using the scan program.

  1. Open the 'Scan' tab on the 'Link' window.

  2. Scan each transferred character.

Step 3: Virtualize the characters

Once scanned, there is only one step left: define the virtualization location, then execute the process.

  1. Open the 'Virt' tab on the 'Link' window.

  2. Define the virtualization location. The method presented here is one of the many existing ones. See the article on the virtualization program.

    Warning:

    There are 'NoVirt' zones, inside which it is impossible to virtualize a Lyoko Warrior. If virtualized inside, the character is transferred to a random location on the territory targeted. These zones are represented by a red striped circle in the 'Virtual Map'.

    Active tower

    The activated towers by XANA create 'NoVirt' zones around them. Click on the tower in the 'Virtual Map' to display the zone.

    Schyphozoa

    An 'NoVirt' zone forms around the Schyphozoa, when she has captured a Lyoko warrior. Click on the monster in the 'Virtual Map' to display the zone.

    Guardian

    A 'NoVirt' zone forms around the Guardians, when they have captured a Lyoko warrior. Click on the monster in the 'Virtual Map' to display the zone around them.

  3. Virtualize the scanned characters. They are located by the 'Virtual Map', which opens their 'Com. Map'.
