How to fight on a virtual world
In IFSCL, battles take place according to a turn-based combat system and are automatically triggered when two entities from opposing sides (mostly monsters and Lyoko warriors) meet on a sector. The 'Fight' window automatically opens so that you can follow the confrontation in detail and choose the actions of your characters.
Step 1: Preparing for fight
During a battle on a virtual world, the 'Virtual Map' is your best asset to know the type as well as the number of enemies you have to face.
Each symbol represents a monster on the 'Virtual Map'. Click on the monsters to attach the map camera to them. You will be able to follow the movements of the monsters with more ease.

Each type of monster (kankrelat, krab, manta, etc.) has its own symbol. This symbol is displayed when you hover over or click on a monster in the 'Virtual Map'. Open the 'Virtual Map Legend' window to associate a symbol with the type of monster it represents.

You can ask a Lyoko warrior to move towards a monster located in the same sector as him from the 'Monsters' tab of his 'Com. Card'.

Step 2: Fighting your enemies
Once a battle is engaged, a 'Combat' window opens so that you can follow the confrontation and choose the actions of your Lyoko warriors.
Each participant in a battle has their own card placed on the left (allied camp) or right (enemy camp) depending on their camp. The upper part of the card is of a picture depicting the entity associated with the card. The lower part of the card contains the health points bar and the action points bar of the entity.
Health Points
The first bar represents the 100 maximum health points that the entity can have. When a unit loses all its health points, it is destroyed.Action Points
The second bar represents the 8 maximum action points that the entity can have. These points are used to perform powerful attacks or use special capacities in combat.

On their turn, the Lyoko warrior's card moves to the center of the 'Combat' window. You then have a limited time (represented by the orange gauge at the bottom of the window) to choose the action they must perform (attack, sacrifice, special capacity, etc.) as well as the target they must aim at.

Once chosen, the targeted entity or entities move forward and the effect of the action is applied.

Once all the characters in your camp have acted, it's your enemies' turn to each take their turn performing an action.

The battle ends once all the entities of one of the camps are eliminated.
