How to decipher Franz Hopper's diary

Deciphering the diary of Franz Hopper is a secondary challenge of the game, which allows you to access the video files that he recorded during the creation of Lyoko and XANA.

Step 1: Preparing the lyoko-warriors

First, you must gather several lyoko-warriors to protect the tower you want to use. Also place Aelita on the second floor of the tower, so that she is ready to launch the deciphering program.

Gather the lyoko-warriors in front of a passage tower (no 1 or no 10) by using the 'Locations' tab of their 'Com. card'.
Make Aelita enter the tower with the 'Get in' option available in the 'Actions' tab of her 'Com. card'.
Make Aelita go up to the second floor of the tower with the 'Go up' option of her 'Com. card'.

Step 2: Preparing the tower

Once the characters are in place, take control of the tower in order to be able to deactivate its inhibitors and thus unlock the diary deciphering program.

Activate the tower for your benefit

Initialize the energy transfer program.

Deactivating the tower's inhibitors

Initialise the scan program (Superscan or Monoscan). The program normally automatically targets the tower that you have activated. If necessary, you can also search for the tower activated with the commands monoscan.jeremie and superscan.jeremie.

Once the activated tower is targeted by the Superscan, you can access the program to control its inhibitors.

Initialise the Cryptosmasher.

Step 3: Deciphering the diary

Once the tower's inhibitors are deactivated, all you have to do is launch the diary deciphering program and hold your position until the end of the process against XANA's attacks.

Launch the deciphering program with the 'Decipher Diary' option available in the 'Com. card' of Aelita. The percentage of diary decryption is indicated on the Superscan window.
XANA will try to take control of the tower by injecting energy into it. Make sure you always have more energy than it does by injecting energy with the energy transmission program. The energy injected by each party into a tower is indicated in the Superscan or Monoscan windows.
Warning:
The more monsters there are around the tower and the more energy XANA can send to it. Destroy them with the other lyoko-warriors to slow down its progress.
