How to save a Lyoko Warrior from the Frontier

A Lyoko Warrior can end up in the Frontier for various reasons. The most common is that the character was devirtualised while in the Deadly Devirt state.

Once in the Frontier, the Lyoko Warrior is gradually erased from the Supercomputer's memory until they disappear completely. This deletion rate is represented by the progressive disappearance of the 3D model in the 'Scan' tab of the Lyoko Warrior located in the Frontier.

Step 1: Retrieve the character's data from the Frontier

To save a Lyoko Warrior from the Frontier, you must first retrieve enough data from the interface of a tower located in the virtual world from which the character was devirtualised.

Access a tower

Ask a Lyoko Warrior to join, via the 'Locations' tab of their 'Com. Card', either:
- A way-tower, if the character was sent to the Frontier from Lyoko or the Digital Sea.
- A tower located in the Replika from which the character was sent to the Frontier.
Have the Lyoko Warrior enter the tower using the 'Go in (tower)' option available in the 'Actions' tab of their 'Com. Card'.
Have the Lyoko Warrior ascend to the second floor of the tower using the 'Go up (tower)' option in their 'Com. Card'.

Retrieve the data

Instruct the Lyoko Warrior to retrieve data using the 'Retrieve Data' option in their 'Com. Card'. The progress of data retrieval is shown by the orange loading bar displayed in the 'Scan' tab of the Lyoko Warrior in the Frontier.
Once all data is retrieved, the character's 3D model turns green , and the Lyoko Warrior is saved from the Frontier.

Step 2: Remove the Lyoko Warrior from the Frontier

Once the character is saved, there are two ways to remove them from the Frontier.

If the saved Lyoko Warrior is in the Deadly Devirt state, the only way to remove them from the Frontier is to revirtualise them on Lyoko.

Rematerialise the Lyoko Warrior on Earth

Open the 'Devirt' tab in the 'Link' window.

Devirtualise the character.

Revirtualise the Lyoko Warrior on Lyoko

Open the 'Revirt' tab in the 'Link' window.
