[The 'Combat' window] (#battle
Learn all about the battle window.
) ###### {: #battle_open} Opening the window A fight starts automatically when at least two entities from opposite sides meet on a [virtual world] (74). The 'Combat' window will then open automatically.
! [Several 'Combat' windows can be opened at the same time] (/Articles/67/V40x/Combat.001.png
) ###### {: #battle_zone} Combat zone The zone of a fight corresponds to acircle forming around the first combatants engaging in the fight. This area is represented in the ['Virtual Map'] (58) via a [color] {yellow} circle formed by yellow particles [color]. Any new entity entering this zone will then be automatically trained in the current fight.
:: Important Although the combat zone is represented by a 2D circle in the ['Virtual Map'] (58), it also extends in height like a sphere. Thus, any [lyoko warrior] (77) or [monster] (78) passing over a combat zone will be engaged in it as well. ::
! [A 'VS' symbol will be displayed above the combat zone in the 'Virtual Map'] (/Articles/67/V40x/Combat.002.png)
{: #battle_order} Order of
Fighters Opponents of afight are represented by an avatar card placed in order (from top to bottom) * in which each participant can act during the turn of their camp. This order isset randomly among all participants in the combat at the start of the fight.
:: note
- Cards placed to the left represent your allies**, while the cards on the right represent your enemies**.
- If a new character or enemy joins an ongoing fight, their avatar card will be added at the end of the current fighter's turn. He will then be placed as the last combatant on his side. ::
! [Avatar cards are the same as those used by the 'Com.Carte' in the case of lyoko warriors] (/Articles/67/V40x/Combat.003.png)
{: #battle_actions} Combat Actions When a [monster] (78) or a character performs an action, **the cards of the entities affected by
it, as well as the one performing it, advance**. The name of theaction performed is then indicated in the window before applying the executed effect (deduction of [label] {green-light} health points [label], [label] regaining [label] {yellow} action points [label],...).
