Cycle 4.0.X marked the arrival of the Story Mode in IFSCL with the addition of chapter 1: 'Jeremy Awakens' in version 4.0.4.

This cycle was also the one that added the mission system and, more generally, all the overlay (right click) available in-game. It was also with this cycle that players were able to leave the interface for the first time in 'Custom Game' to observe the factory lab.

4.0.X also included the reorganization of various controls of the game on major programs ([virt], [transm]...) and the redesign of some windows such as 'SC Status' (formerly known as 'SC Cooldown'), or programs such as the CD player. Finally, a single new program was added for this cycle, the [frontrevirt], used to revirtualize a lyoko warrior directly on Lyoko from the Frontier.

The Kawa's Room is the last gift given by Immudelki Kawabata to the IFSCL fans before the launch of the Story Mode. Indeed, this secret room concludes in a final stage the mini story initiated since the Immu's Room 3.5.0 'Frontier Of Mysteries'.

The particularity of this Room is to have a central hub featuring elements from the video game Final Fantasy X with the village of Besaid and the character of Tidus as an avatar for the player. From this hub, you can access different rooms revealing locations from the series being created for the Story Mode.

If you manage to find every secret of each of the rooms, your trip will end with an excursion through Lyoko's towers revealing various important elements from the backstory of the Story Mode. After that, Kawabata will leave you one last letter to say goodbye to you and finally finish the story of IFSCL's Immu's Room.
