How to deactivate a tower?

XANA can, during its active periods, activate a tower on Lyoko to attack the real world. The only way to stop the computer virus's offensive is for Aelita to reach the tower activated by XANA and enter the Lyoko code there. You will then need to perform a Return to the Past to erase all traces of the attack. Step 1: Find the activated tower

First, you need to locate the position of the tower activated by XANA.

1. Normally, the Superscan automatically detects any towers activated by XANA.

   Manually searching for an activated tower

   1. Open the Superscan.

   2. Look for the tower activated by XANA.

      Important:

      If the Superscan finds nothing, it means the activated tower is the one in the 5th Territory. Connect to that territory to analyze the tower.

2. Click on the blue circle in the top left of the Superscan to locate the activated tower on the 'Virtual Map'.

   

Step 2: Send the lyoko warriors into battle

Aelita must then reach the activated tower to enter the Lyoko code and stop XANA's attack.

Reaching the activated tower

1. Virtualize Aelita and other lyoko warriors onto a tower adjacent to the one activated by XANA. Check the tutorial 'Virtualization' for more details on this procedure.

   

2. Have the lyoko warriors move to the activated tower from the 'Movement' tab in their 'Com. Card'.

   

3. Fight off the monsters guarding the tower while protecting Aelita. See the tutorial 'Fighting in a Virtual World' for more information on combat.

   

Deactivating the tower

1. Have Aelita enter the tower using the 'Enter Tower' option in the 'Actions' tab of her 'Com. Card'.

   

2. Have Aelita climb the tower one floor at a time using the 'Climb Tower' option.

   

3. Deactivate the tower using the 'Lyoko Code' option. This will immediately stop XANA's offensive, except in the case of the meteorite attack.

   

Step 3: Perform a Return to the Past

Once XANA's attack is stopped, you must execute a Return to the Past to repair any damage caused by the attack.

1. Initialize the Return to the Past program.
